Here I go AGAIN…
Since returning to the friendly (or not so friendly) skies, my Paleo diet has been questionnable to say the least. My nights in Portland, San Francisco, Chicago and other parts of the nation have been filled with too many Caramel Brulee Lattes, Deep dish pizzas, VooDoo Doughnuts and sandwiches from Bonne Sante (inclusive of the dutch crunch roll)…FOR SHAME!!! “It’s hard,” I say to continue on this nutrition plan! But really? How hard is it? Is it harder than Fran? Grace? Murph? Hell no!!! And so, in sticking with my motto, i’m going back to my plan “Because I can!”
Umm, just a quick trip to New Orleans first on January 1-4. I will begin tomorrow but will have a brief intermission when I visit the Big Easy.

For breakfast, the Sunday CF crew headed to OG Pancake House where we indulged…chocolate chip pancakes with whipped cream and bacon. Then the chicas went to see The Hangover (freakin hilarious!!!) and I filled up on popcorn with nacho cheese, a coke, and an icee. I proceeded to Mama D’s for pasta in alfredo sauce with bay scallops, garlic bread and a chocolate chip cookie and also picked up a pint of Ben & Jerry’s Half Baked (chocolate and vanilla ice creams with bits of cookie dough and brownie batter, outrageously yummy) and Loaded Baked Potato Pringles. Just before midnight, I completed my cheat day with a bowl of Frosted Flakes (one of my faves). Oy!!!
